We are getting settled in over here. We've made a few friends (don't worry old friends... we still miss you guys!) and explored the area a little bit more. Holy mother it's HOT here!! Things are going good for us so far. Here are some changes since we last updated:
Sean went from this (Third Class Petty Officer):
To this (Second Class Petty Officer):
That second "v" is actually a very big accomplishment!! (and he gets paid more, which is a nice plus.) And, as always, I am so proud of him!
I was able to talk to the "head honcho" at his pinning ceremony and was promised that Sean would be able to come home for our baby's birth so it was a great day all around!
And while I am on the subject of my amazing husband... He was also able to get expert shooter (which is the best you can get) on the rifle course, it means he gets a new ribbon for his uniform (and bragging rights, of course!) He just never stops with the awesomeness!
My hair got chopped off, thanks to the killer humidity this place offers.

ignore the crazy face... I took this picture for a friend (shout out to Anna!)
I don't have a baby bump yet. Everyone keeps asking to see pictures, but there is nothing to see yet. We will post some pictures when I get a belly, so there is no need to worry!

Baby went through a lot of changes too. Most recently it has gotten its finger prints, and vocal cords and right now its working on growing some hair! Oh, and it can pee now too. weird.
We got to hear the heart beat for the first time on June 14th and it was awesome! The doctor said baby is still on track for the December 16th due date and everything looks good! We should find out what we are having in 4 weeks at our next appointment. We couldn't be more excited about the little human coming to join our family!!
In lame news... Sean is going to Canada for 2 weeks for some military public relation stuff (it's for a good cause I guess, blah, blah!) He leaves on Sunday so I will be all alone :(
Now you are officially caught up on our life... until next time.
