Where the Wild Things Are

Clayton was Max from the book "Where the Wild Things Are" for Halloween.
Clayton growls constantly so this costume was perfect for him.
(I can't take the credit for the idea... it was Sean's.)
Grandma Boggs made his costume and he looked so cute!
Here are some pictures of our little wild thing in action.

Elder Thomas

Darin left the Missionary Training Center in Provo today.
He will be serving in the Londrina, Brazil Mission for the next 2 years.
He will be missed, but I am so proud of him and his decision to serve the Lord.

Darin, I know you will be a rockstar missionary, just like you are in everything you do!
Thank you for being an example to me, but also, and more importantly, for being an example to my son.
We are praying for you always little brother.

Beautiful City

We stopped and saw Nauvoo and Carthage for a couple of days on our way back to North Carolina.
It was really cool to get to actually see and be in the same place where so many significant things took place in the history of our church. I am so glad we stopped. I really loved it!

Mount Rushmore

Giant heads of past presidents carved into a mountain + The fam = Awesome day!

Someone asked if we wanted a picture of the three of us with the mountain... I would say they get a B- on this shot :) Oh well, at least they didn't charge us...

Mount Rushmore is back there somewhere, I promise.

I heart Football

And... so does my little man!
I love that it's already football season. That means my favorite time of the year finally here!!
Football watching- jacket wearing- leaves falling- cocoa drinking- fire building- time of year.
aahhh fall... I love, love, love you. Thanks for coming, please stay forever.

Idaho Falls Zoo

We went to the zoo with the Wallaces today.
Clayton had a blast. He stood and looked at the pig all by himself! I was so proud! Our little boy is growing up so fast!! He also got to feed the goats and he thought that was awesome!
This little boy absolutely loves to be outside more than anything else in the world.
