Massacre Rocks State Park

First camping trip of the season! We went to Massacre State Park right outside American Falls. It was fun. We broke in the new trailer and made some memories.
Yes, yes, we sold our camping souls and got a camp trailer! We are old, wimpy people now and it's awesome!
This is a "where's Clayton" picture :
Can you find him??

Cruising Baby

At first glance this is a cute picture until you notice that isn't a smile coming from Quincy… Or maybe you didn't notice, in that case just keep thinking it's a tender moment between brothers.
 Finally wearing shorts!

I found Clayton like this...
This little man is a officially a cruiser!

Super Hero

Clayton has been really into all things "super heroes" lately. Grandma Boggs got him some Batman pajamas complete with a cape that he loves. He borrowed the Spiderman suit from Aunt Tif's house.
Now, isn't this the cutest super hero you have ever seen??

I made this sign and framed it for his room:
I hope someday he knows how important being a big brother really is. He already is an awesome brother that loves to help with Quincy, and play with him. He loves to hold his little brother and sing him songs. My heart overflows with happiness when I watch them play together.
Clayton and Quincy are almost exactly the same age difference as Darin and Ethan are. It makes me happy to know that they can have the same kind of relationship as my two younger brothers do. I smile as I watch them play because they may not know it yet but they are starting a relationship that will soon be more than just brothers but best friends who will be there for each other no matter what and that is such an awesome thing to have. I have loved having those kind of relationships with my siblings.

Blurry

Almost all of the pictures I have of Clayton and Quincy are blurry. It's almost impossible to keep those two still for a photo. I look through the pictures and debate whether I should keep them or not because they are so out of focus, then realize that I wouldn't have very many pictures of my kids if I got rid of those, so I keep them, and I love them, because they are a perfect description of my little dudes.
My boys don't hold still. They play, and they laugh, and they explore and I am so glad.
Here are some cute pictures of our handsome little blurs.

Pretend Pic-E-nic

Grandma Self sent Clayton some very realistic fake fruit in the mail. He loves playing with pretend food. Since it was sunny outside today we took advantage and had a pic-E-nic (Clayton's term) outside while waiting for Dad to get home from school.

Playground

We had a couple days of spring-ish weather this week. The sun was shining and after we got over our shock of seeing the big yellow thing in the sky again, and of course when we got out of church, we hit up our neighborhood playground for some good old fashion playtime.

Don't be confused by Clayton's gloves… it wasn't cold out, he just insisted on wearing his "super hero gloves" because he had on his cape...
