Justice Tree Farm

Picking out the perfect tree with Dad:
 This is the one.
And for your viewing pleasure, another family shot taken by us... I know what you are saying...
"get some friends already, these awkward family self-portraits are getting old!"
 and I agree.

Clayton hanging his ornaments on the tree
We decorated our tree all the way down this year thinking it couldn't be that interesting for our 1 year old. We thought, no big deal, we will just distract him away from it a few times and he will be bored with it after the first day...
This is what our tree looks like now:

We are Thankful

We had Thanksgiving at our house with just the 3 of us.
This was Clayton's first experience with the Thanksgiving feast... he was in love!
He liked everything we had on the menu, he ate A LOT...  and so did we.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Too much turkey makes your eyes tired! :)

Messy

Doesn't everyone spray their kid off in the sink after dinner? :)

Marine Corps Ball

Sean and I went to the ball tonight.
This is the only picture we got.
I am very much aware that this is the worst picture in history, so there will be no need to point out the obvious fact that we got a big giant fail in the picture taking department this evening.
Go ahead, laugh it up. We deserve it.

Growl, Bengals, Growl

This will soon be our fight song...

Sean got accepted to Idaho State University -- School of Technology.
We are moving to Pocatello in May when his contract with the Navy ends.
Goodbye military. You, and your husband hogging antics, won't be missed.

This is a scary and exciting new chapter in our lives that we are certain is the right direction for our family to go in.
Starting in May we will be able to make our own decisions on where we want to live and when our family will spend time apart... something that the military has done for us since before we were even married.
We are excited for this opportunity.

Brad and Tifani and all those kids that come with them, just so happen to live there, which will be a nice little bonus... we've been too far from our families for too long. It will be good to have those Wallaces around :)

Now, a little bit of bragging about my awesome husband... story of your life, I know! If you are tired of hearing how amazingly great he is (I can't help it, I am just so proud of him) you may want to stop reading now...
Sean applied for the geomatics technology program. The program had 4 spots available (that is a small number right?!) and  because he is so smart (like sickening, smart!) he got one of those spots! I know, amazing! I told you so.
I was so happy for him when we found out that he was accepted into the program... however, I was not the least bit surprised :)

Bring on the changes world... we are more than ready for a new adventure.

ONE

I just can't wrap my head around the fact that Clayton is already a year old!
One short year ago, the most handsome baby boy ever, joined our family 4 weeks and 3 days earlier than expected, and that day, our lives were forever changed for the better.
Clayton came out fighting, and hasn't slowed down since. He is a tough little man, with an attitude... I'm not sure where he got that from :) He is busy... so incredibly busy! He is constantly moving and exploring.
He is so smart (I know every mom says that, but he really is!) He is a people person, he loves the crowds, and everyone is drawn to him as well. He eats anything, and a lot of it, snores more than any baby I know, and is always happy.
Happy Birthday to the little boy that is my world. I love you more than you will ever know.
Good morning Birthday Boy!
The very Hungry Caterpillar cake
He wasn't loving the hat I made for him...
Sean's family and my sister and her kids joined the party via skype

Anniversary #4

I celebrated four years of marital bliss with my best friend today (and the cutest tag-along I've ever seen)
Four years of marriage seemed so short when I got to spend it with this handsome dude:
And, he is funny, and smart to top it off! :)

I wouldn't trade my husband in for anything or anyone else in the world.
I hope he knows that... and I hope he knows that I love him as much now (if not more) than the day I said yes to an eternity with him by my side. Here's to eternity babe, and all the adventures along the way!
Thank you for making me the happiest girl around!
I love you so much more than I could ever express... and I always will.

Daddy's Little Man

These two are best buddies. Clayton loves his Daddy so much! When Sean gets home from work Clayton goes to the door as fast as he can and has biggest smile on his face. Then he doesn't let Sean out of his sight for the rest of the night. He follows Sean around no matter where he goes and loves helping Daddy fix things. Clayton's only used word is da-da... I pretend that it bothers me when he never says mom, but really I think it's so cute how much he loves his Daddy.
I am blessed with the two best looking boys in the world as my family. I don't think it gets any better than this.
