Salt Lake City

Sean had to go to Salt Lake for a few days this week for work and Clayton and I were lucky enough to tag along with him... we played while he was working. He was done around 3:00 each day so we got some quality family time in during the evenings. I also got to hang out with one of my childhood friends (Minda Egbert) that I haven't seen since I was pregnant with Clayton, it was good to see her and have her finally meet the little man. It was a great "vacation" we are glad that we got to go!

The first day we went to temple square and walked around then to Benihana's for dinner.
On Thursday we went to the aquarium with Minda:
The last day we went to a cool park that had a splash zone at it. Clayton had so much fun playing in the water!

Family Fun Day

Saturday was Pocatello's annual family fun day, and since our family is always down for some fun, we decided to check it out... and fun it was! There was booths set up from local stores, bouncy houses, fire trucks, and a helicopter that landed in the park! Clayton also got to meet Smokey the Bear (he only liked Smokey from a distance though)

watching the helicopter land!
Seeing the helicopter up close:

Clayton LOVED the bounce houses! It was hard to get him to come out when it was time to go home.
The fire fighters gave him a cool fire hat and we got free Creamies samples from the Costco booth

Ethan's Graduation Weekend

Saturday we drove up to Weiser so we could go to Ethan's graduation from good ol' Weiser High.
We packed a lot of fun into the two days we were up there.
We went to the "beach" (aka Mann Creek Reservoir) Clayton was in heaven playing in the sand and water with his cousins.
We built a fire that night and roasted marshmallows for s'mores... there are no pictures of that, so you are just going to have to imagine it :)

Sunday, before graduation Sean, Clayton, and Cliff went fishing out on the boat, they were gone about an hour and caught 5 fish!

Ethan's graduation was good. He made it out with a diploma, so I would consider that going well :)
Congratulations littlest brother! We are proud of you!
We went to my Dad's house afterwards and hung out with Ethan, Brenda, and her side of the family.

Clayton and Madi also got some tractor playing time in whenever they could.
It was a whirlwind weekend, but we had fun!
Oh, and Happy Memorial Day Everyone!!

American Falls Fish Hatchery

My mom and Cliff drove down this weekend for Madi's birthday.
Today we drove up to American Falls to check out the fish hatchery and have a picnic lunch before Grandma and Grandpa had to go back to Weiser.
It was a lot of fun! The kids got to feed the fish, there were a lot, and they were big! There was also an awesome nature trail that we walked.

Dioptra Geomatics

Sean got a job with a surveying company! He will be working for a local company called Dioptra. It seems like it will be a great company to work for, and it's in the field he is getting his degree in. We feel so blessed by this opportunity. Sean is more than happy about saying goodbye to his job with Direct T.V.
It's so awesome that he already has his foot in the door with geomatic engineering and he has only just finished his first year of school.
