Fireworks

We love America and we love fireworks! Happy 4th of July! We are happy to live in this great country and enjoy all the blessings that come with it!
We went to Inkom today, they had a celebration there with bounce houses and other fun things for the kids. Our boys went "fishing" with a net for goldfish in a kiddie pool. They each got one. Clayton named his Lucky and he named Quincy's Silver. He was so excited about getting a bowl for them!
disregard the incorrect year on their shirts… it is 2015, I just didn't get shirts for them this year. oops.

Floating the River

In Lava Hot Springs there is a great spot to float the Portneuf River. We went there today to try it out. The section that most people float is short, it's only about a half hour float then you can get out and walk back and do it again. We rented a two person float and planned on holding our kids on our laps. We went through the first rapid and Quincy was done! He hated it! The water was freezing I think that bothered him the most. I had to climb out of the river with him mid-float. Clayton on the other hand, loved it! He wanted to go again and again and again! He is our little daredevil.

4-wheel driving

We borrowed the side by side from Dioptra for the weekend and had fun 4-wheel driving with the Wallaces on Friday night. Today, Sean and I went on a double date with the Swopes and took it out for another ride. Clayton was in heaven, he loved riding in it. Quincy was a little more cautious and he didn't like it so much.

Big Springs Campground

After what seemed like years of rain around here (it was actually only about 3 weeks but I thought maybe we were living in Washington there for a while!) the sun finally came out so we spent the weekend on an overdue camping trip. We decided to try Big Springs Campground outside of Lava Hot Springs. It was beautiful there and the weather was perfect! Quincy slept on the bottom bunk with no issues, so no more Pack & Play for him! His favorite thing was throwing rocks in the creek. Clayton loved roasting hot dogs over the fire, and climbing on fallen trees. It was an awesome trip!! We will be going back to Big Springs again for sure!
The boys had "hot dog cameras"

I think this sign means that Grandpa Boggs should have come with us!
